I put new wipers on yesterday. They're pretty badass. And only 2 months on the shelf.

Rain X? Those are the best in IMO.

 

Treating your windshield with RainX helps a lot too, though needs to be reapplied a few times per year. The water just beads up, versus making a film. Cleaning the smoke film off from the summer, fall, winter fires you've had nearby will improve how well the wipers do their job too,

 

Wow did not expect this much interest. I guess the whole forum has gotten pretty shitty of late.

I've had the Bosch Icons before, and I thought they were the best I'd ever tried over the years, but the local store did no have the sizes I needed and I had zero time to dick around. And there is oddly little room for error on these 2nd gen blades and shields.

We just got hammered the last couple weeks, right after the deadliest fires in the state's history. Hence why wipers moved to the front of the line. OEMs, 3 years. And note that. OEM, 3 years. Heard some other guys saying they were not only inexpensive for the inserts, but long lasting.

I've tried those before and was underwhelmed. Same with the Goodyears.

I went with Napa Exact Fits. They are virtually identical to the OEM metal wiper arms and blades in every regard, including exact length.

PN 6-021-1 and 6-022

 

Feel like those are OEM, essentially.

Might grab those for woman’s car.

 

They differ slightly on close inspection, like with my fucking reading glasses on, and you can see that the secondary arms have slightly different geometry (longer) than the OEMs.
