Done. So glad, getting closer to "back to normal." But my deep cycle is the trailer is dead, like won't charge dead...:frusty: I didn't maintain it properly. :anonymous: But I've been a little preoccupied since...all of last year.
I'll need to get a 24/7 tender and improve access to the battery box under the galley.

Much better access and visibility, and the angle is better for keeping the electrical closer to centerline in turns both directions.

I like the plug receiver location. I thought about going the same route, but the local authorities like getting there revenue around here. I've been thinking of getting this battery maintainer from Redline. I like the options it has.

Is that an onboard unit, or a 120vac?

The trailer has its own smart charger/inverter that charges from the truck while towing, and I can hook to shore power (any 120VAC), but I don't want to leave it plugged in all the time, and not sure that the unit is meant to be on 24/7/365 anyway (need to dig into the user manual deeper first), and don't want that in a confined space for prolonged periods. Plus I pull the trailer in and out of the garage a lot.

I hooked it to shore power to recharge it (which is what I have always doesn't in the past, every few months), but the red light did not go off after 24 hours this time, and the battery was pretty hot. A unit that I can leave in all the time and senses battery voltage drop to recharge automatically is where I'm headed. So this will mean pulling the battery box from the trailer to a "convenient" outlet, of which I don't have enough in the garage yet.

Hmmmm. Thanks. When I dig into the specs on mine, I'll see how these compare. The one in the trailer is a pretty standard marine-type charger/inverter.

It's 120 and it is a smart charger that can be left hooked up as long as you want. Meant to keep the battery maintained at full charge.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I went to the link, but it didn't' seem to specify that, and it didn't show the cord ends! LOL.

Nice! also keep in mind you have the long bed and that might make a visual difference in tire size preference. Awesome wheels!
