I'm set on 265/75 16. It's a DD, so I really have no desire to go bigger and kill my power and mileage. Lift will be about 2 inches, a bit more in the back to handle the cap/rack and towing, especially in the Sierra.

EDIT I should add that the primary purpose of these pics is that I finally found pics of Silver Sky Metallic trucks with these SCS wheels in gunmetal. I pretty much had my mind set on Konigs in black. Until now.

That's going to look good. I'm also trying to decide on a different tire, and weather or not to go from 265/70/16's to the 265/75/16's.
    Hers another tire thread.

I decided pretty early on. My earliest posts in this thread yammer about the Michelin LTX AT2, which is superb on and offroad. They look milder than most any AT, but @teamhypoxia had demonstrated they are the real deal for some pretty hardcore offroad.

That said, after hearing many rave reviews about all-around performance and quality on the Coopers S/T Maxx, including very good input on DD use and quiet ride, I'm giving them a go this time. Also dead set on 16 inch wheels. So it boils down to Konig Countersteer Offroad or SCS F5 4.5. I'll pull the trigger any day now, just need to price shop the tires.

Thanks once again for the feed back. Looking forward to seeing them on your truck. Great choice!

Just got a quote for Cooper 265/75 16s from my go-to wheel shop: 209.95 each.

A few more pics of the same truck above, with direct sun on the gunmetal F5s. They almost look color matched to the Silver Sky in sun, and in shade, they look much darker. I think it is pretty damn cool both ways. These are the same light weight as the Konig Countersteer Off-roads (19 lb), but I think the F5 spoke design is structurally superior for direct load transfer from rim to hub. Aesthetically, the design manages to be both classic and modern simultaneously.

Vin at SCS is currently invoicing me for the last set of 5 F5s in matte gunmetal he has in stock. Won't have more until April. And he's out of black, FYI.

May be able to pick them up this weekend.

So I have an appointment with Vin at SCS Saturday morning to pick them up, and just ordered a set of , a couple , and a Gorilla that will live in the truck from Wheelers.

Now to nail down the tire deal for the Coopers and get the mudguards from Proven Designs.

Oh yeah. Believe it or not, these are matte gunmetal, even though the look steel blue here. Taken outside in shade.
