Every time I leave my house.....and alot of the time when I am watching TV, or talking to someone on the phone, or someone walks by my house, or drives by, or flies over head......other than that, not usually.

you may need this to relax at the end of one of those stressful days. I'm betting this will make it to @scocar 's parts shelves.

    That’s scary.

I read a book written by a journalist during the 49er gold rush here in the Sierras.

One of the first stories in the book was about going on a hunt with a bunch of miners to find a grizzly bear that was coming down into the camps and hauling people off.

I’ll track down the title of the book.

I just finished "Death In the Tall Grass" and the Tsavo Lions are the first story in that book.
Great book. I finished it and went back and started reading it again.

@VE7OSR You may have midiagnosed Rob. Seems more like Tourette syndrome. Plus dementia? And some alcoholism.

Anyway, I'm chilling in the northern suburbs, which is a shockingly snow white of whites filled with John Hughs-ian film locations.

Not that whites can't be murders too...

The first time here we hit a ton of places downtown, got dogs at this place
    https://original-chicagos-doghouse.brygid.online/zgrid/proc/site/sitep.jsp

I just ordered the straight up traditional Chicago dog to establish a baseline. But I noted also their dog that has (GASP!) ketchup!

BLAGOJEVICH Chicago style with ketchup (found guilty on 1 count)

Grew up that area. Moved when I was 15 and haven't missed it a minute, and haven't been back since I was 20. Fuck that place.

Wouldn’t a traditional Chicago drink be Lagunitas?
Heard a podcast about it a few years back and was like “shit, that sounds like “The Ghost and the Darkness” then learned that is was based on the real lions. The fact that the movie is about 85% accurate makes those lions even scarier.
