    I hope I have time to take pics during install. I really would like to, and take some night shots from the driver position. I would like to take a shot of one of these and one OEM white fog on at the same time.

    Yes, they are. Stout enough to be tough, but thin enough to not mess with the door seals, from what I can tell. And stuck on tight with 3M. @ryanjboutin has had them on for some time and they are holding up well, from what I recollect. It was his truck, which he bought used, that had the paint worn through on the sills. Then I realized I was slipping my foot over the driver sill all the time. Then I realized Ben would be climbing in himself sooner than later, and I already found a few scratches here and there. And they have texture that will help prevent slipping, too.
