Fess up bitches who heres done something fully stupid.

Last night in preparation of the backwall install in the canopy I pulled the fridge out and put in my garage. I couldn't find the power plug so I ran to best buy and bought the small two prong adapter.

Plugged it in, boom! sparks and fuse blew. Looked down. clearly I just plugged AC power into the DC port. Friend the power supply and controller. Have new ones on the way to swap out.

    imma fool. pay attention kids.

I answered the "Does this make me look like a blimp?" question with "Kinda. Wear the blue one."

    1. While rebuilding my old supra I stuffed a towel in the throttle body for a few days so nothing got in there... assembled everything and left towel in. It ended up jammed my throttle open and almost took me for a ride :)

    2. Shocked the shit out of myself by not pulling the fuse on my amp, took the negative off first and it touched the side of the amp short circuiting it while holding.

    3. After my turbo and exhaust upgrade I was so excited to take my supra for a ride I went ahead and just drove it non-tuned with an open cat. Had it on the rich side to be cautious, well it literally MELTED my cat, pulled over and saw dripping molten metal coming down from under my car.

    4. But my greatest mistake, trying to blast up like a 50 degree incline in a shitty lifted 2wd 4runner when I was a dumb high school kid, rolled it 6 times down the mountain. 3 of us in the car thank god the worst injury was a torn shoulder and broken wrist:

I didn't even suspect that I'd screwed up for 3 days. Grr. I told her if she doesn't want honesty, then put that in writing, sign it with a witness in front of a notary. Otherwise, cut that out and never do it again. She didn't talk to me for several hours, then agreed I was right.

I said "I'm glad we agree on this, Goodyear."

That last part is a lie. I wish I'd said that.

Misread inch pounds as foot pounds when I was torquing the bolts onto the bottom of my transmission pan on my 66 F250. Broke two bolts before I stopped to think I might be doing something wrong.

I put a rebuilt head back on my old BMW and got the valve timing 180 degrees off- I think it actually ran backwards for a bit!

Younger, I did a brake job on my scirocco. got 50% of the front pads in backwards. Went to bed the pads in like these sound like shit.

Got home and looked at the caliper and one side the pad material was facing the piston/carrier. Flipped them bitches around and bed the pads to the scored rotor :)

Rebuilt my beetle and put the distributor rotor shaft in 90 degrees off. I had to modify the rotor to get it in time.

Went to change the oil in my wife's CR-V. Crawled under and found the first drain plug and started the job. As it's draining, I thought, "hmm, that oil looks RED". Started looking more at the underneath side...it seems that I also started a transmission drain & fill job as well as an oil change! Guess I'd better go to the car place and get me some transmission fluid. Luckily, it's an older manual one, so it was really easy to fill the new fluid.

There are other things I've done, but can't really think of them right now.
