If you’re happy with the truck and comfortable with the payment then yes you got a good deal. Doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks

I'm still allowed to pay off early with no penalties.

That hurts. I am going to take two 500mg Tylenol then get back to you if I don't feel any better by then!

Right, but how would you pay more each month if it's automatically withdrawn?

Send a check towards principal. My wife does it on our 4Runner. We got a better interest rate for auto pay

Yes. That way the minimum payment is drawn each month and we send an extra principal payment depending how much extra we have for the month. Saved us .25% on our interest rate with the auto pay

I go online and set a certain amount to be withdrawn each month and applied towards principle.

My wife leases. She has a bad habit of flipping cars every 2 or 3 years and would be massively upside down. I found a cheap lease listing so we walked in a dealer to lease a 2015 Jeep Cheeroke that was loaded.. $300 month .zero down. We went to Jeep again in December. Her lease was supposed end in May!!! A salesman called and said we have great deals! They tried to get us to put cash down and I said “are you high”, the current lease ends in May and you called us. He said it would be zero down and $350. I told him for what . If we get it at the same amount as now she’ll take it. She gave them the keys and she drove away in her new Jeep fully loaded.., $0down $309 a month. My wife flips vehicles that hold $0 value. She likes them though and it’s new. I’m happy she’s happy.

You gotta try the “well I’m walking “, and my favorite “call me if you can get to my ballpark.” I always say I’m not sure we can get the deal done.

You need your number targeted before entering.

If you go to the dealer absolutely needing to buy that day , they got you. Years of working at dealers as a kid watching salesman pull all the stops. Don’t get me wrong the salesman took care of us little guys (porters)at the bar every other Saturday (payday) These bastards would try to sell Rustproofing, sound shield, paint protection on a lease. Hey jack, it’s covered for 36,000 miles! GTFO!!!!! Commission chasers!!!

Asking the question after you made the deal? Too late now to do any good. Once you make a deal, just live with it and enjoy your truck.

It is like marrying a girlfriend then asking yourself if you made the right choice.

I had a 744 credit score, .00223 or whatever was the top tier money factor on a lease

Yeah I dont think Toyota has a special rate right now for them. Only a security deposit would have gotten it lower but not all dealers know how to work it in. I dont think there is much room for a better deal...

Some lady I work with said she’s getting a TRD Pro for zero down and $250 a month because her husband works for Toyota and getting the employee discount. WTF. Maybe I should of tried to lease a pro?!

I smell bullshit. The employee discount isn’t that good. I put $0 down for my TRD OR and my payment is $375/month. That’s with a 0.00285 money factor.
