I decided to put a cummins 6BT in my '93 landcruiser 80 series and bought the kit sold from www.dieseladapters.com
I paid Dustin Allmaras, Allmaras Machine, 69rambler, www.dieseladapters.com $5160 on July 29, 2014 for the cummins swap kit. I've received part of the kit but still waiting for the wiring harness, compushift controller and throttle linkage.
    138 fucking days!!!
now what? has anyone been in this situation? will police or a lawyer be any help?

Don't think we can be of much help here regarding who you bought it from since the majority here haven't dealt with diesel swaps. 138 days does sound fishy and a long time.
Probably gonna need some more details, have you followed up with them, any phone calls/texts, emails?
    138 days of no communication?

last contact with him was Sept 23 when he said the rest of the kit was getting shipped out, on monday Dec 8 I received my torque converter back after he altered it to fit the cummins.
    this is the last email on sept 23;
    Andre,

    Ship the converter to:

    Diesel Adapters
    22110 S Ferguson RD
    Beavercreek, OR 97004

Make sure you drain it well, tape the snout on the converter and triple bag it with a rag or something absorbent inside the bags in case the converter leaks during shipping. If it leaks through the box they might not deliver it.

Rod's and your kits are all on their way or delivered except for some of the Intercooler tubing. The remaining pieces will ship tomorrow.

    Thanks!

    Dustin

With that kind of money being thrown around there is no way I would be doing business with anyone non-local or within driving distance. I feel for the OP as I've been burned over the internet on some deals but not to this scale. Seems to happen on every forum I've been on though.

I've googled the shit out of all his info, and he has another address as well. Thanks for looking out for me.

for that kinda cash he's within driving distance, 38 hours from my house to his!!

But on the good side I got a message from him saying the parts are shipping tomorrow, we'll see if he follows through.

Good to hear, maybe with the Holidays and everyday life he's just been buried in work and problems. Hope the FJ is up and running soon, that's my favorite style Land Cruiser.

What is the expected mileage after the swap, only reason I haven't owned a Land Cruiser is the horrible mpg's.
