They sold you an SR5 with some ebay decals and to top it off it's a Prerunner with 4x4 mudflaps.

Was there anything else special about that package? I liked the decal with TRD and mountain behind it.

I imagine, without the TRD decals, the tuck just looks like an SR5, correct? Not there is anything wrong with that.

I thought SR5's and TRD/OR's got the same wheels? just tires are different? Dunlops Grandtreks on the SR5's and Rugged Fails on TRD/OR's.

For the price we pay for the OR package, I wish the gunmetal or anthracite beadlock wheel was standard.

Don't you have aftermarket wheels for the truck anyways? Same rims since 05 and they are terrible IMO, Toyota should do better.

No traded that tuck into dealer, with aftermarket wheels & tires. Not going down that road again. Probably remember my posts of trying to balance, and get rid of vibes on the highway with aftermarket wheels.

Going to keep this one stock, I'm definitely loving the silky smooth ride, versus the choppy, bouncy and stiff ride with the 265/75/16 All-Terrians.

No hair dryer needed for me when my truck was a week old. The decals and badges came off with ease without heating them up, so why risk heating up the paint if it's not needed.
I also used WD-40 for any left over residue instead of Goo Gone.

Your truck will still be a TRD after you remove those hideous decals, but it will look much nicer and cleaner without them!

That sticker is $72 per side from the dealer. I found that out the hard way.

I didn't know it was only one year yes I liked the wheels. :)
Found a set on CL w/ snows & ran them last year but really would like to swap them for summer time use the TRD OR wheels in winter.

It was a TRD OR with
black Baja wheels (the same as the current "SR" package)
    black overfenders
    special Mountain bedside decal

I think it was only offered in black or white & do not know what else..as Josh said, one year offered.

Funny how Toyota recycles some its offerings later on like the non-led tail lights, Baja wheels...slap em on & making a new package!

As far as the OP's bedside decal I like it and your new truck!

Damn ... if I had known that I would have had the dealer package them up for me ... instead of the trash can.

I found that funny too. Looks like Toyota is trying to use up stock to make room for the redesign :stirthepot:

Yea, it wasn't anything special. Just a different look from the ordinary. I've always liked black fenders matched with black wheels.

I'm sure you could get a TRD sticker with the mountain in the back. Not like you're advertising something you don't have. Just a different designed sticker.
