So... I ordered a set of Icon AALs from Wheelers Offroad, way back on May 26th. They finally came in yesterday after a "supply issue" and I am questioning that I even got the Icon's at all. There's no Icon labeling/stickers on them and the Icon installation instructions are not with them. The Icon website says they are proudly Made in USA. These are stamped "Made in Canada" and came with a generic U-bolt kit (WHE U7754X) and looks like their Wheelers kit, just put together to look like the Icons. Has anyone else come across this?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
You should probably take pictures and e-mail Wheelers instead. Or maybe call them. They have never done me wrong in any order.

For the record just because a comp puts a "Made in the USA" sticker on their product or even claims its made in the USA doesn't mean it really is. Those mini packs are made by I believe Standen, which is a leaf spring manufacturer in Canada, hence the marking.

I called Icon and they confirmed that things were not taken care of the way they were supposed to be. They are sending me out some swag and contacting Wheelers to discuss configuration control... If you want more details, PM me.

Hornswaggling at its finest! I'm sure it was a mistake of some sort though. Wheelers is known to be a very reputable company.

Indeed. Which is why an explanation of what occurred should be posted instead of the silly "PM me" instruction.

I read that to mean bait-and-switch, and hope the customer doesn't notice.
