You are always going to get a clown who is telling you they paid less (when they likely didn't). It's usually a group of clowns - collectively known as a circus. Walk away and enjoy your truck.

Ouch, I keep toying with selling my 2015 DCTRDOR with tow package with under 3 K on it to get an old Land Cruiser. I'd have sold that for 37 [not cheap but 3K on the clock, leer cap, NO winters, stored inside, weathertech mats]

But........I see what they are getting, especially at the dealer, IF they have any at the dealer. I did see a couple used pro's but they wouldn't even give/list the price or miles unless I came it, forget that, I'd rather DA my noggin with 40 grit sand paper.

Washington will not change until King/PIerce/Thurston counties stop controlling the entire state.
Lots of collective stupid....and not just housing prices.

I'm thinking we will hit some kind of slowdown. I saw the other day that when unemployment and interest rates are where they are today (I forget the exact minimum numbers on both that they gave), historically there's been a slowdown or worse in the next 2-3 years.

I do agree with you. My friend's dad always says his house he paid $25K for that's worth $300 something now is still worth $25K to him because he would have to spend at least the $300 plus he'd get selling to rebuy, unless he was going out of the area or making a huge downsize no way.

LOL you mean so the taxpayers can save them again *CRINGE*

You say that and I hope you're right but why would dealers lower their prices now that they see that people are willing to pay?

If you read my other posts in this thread you will see why. Pretty soon people will not be able to pay.

It's pretty cool that everyone is trying to cheer you up but did not answer your question. To answer your question, yes, you overpaid even on the current market. I would be ok with $32k if it's 4x4 and a little lesser milage. But again, it's already done, so enjoy it.

Correct, but the overall deal should be a win (with the trade in of the junker they did him well on).

Same situation with me, OP. I paid a bit much for my used 2021 recently…but I also sold my previous vehicle for $7,000 more than I paid for it in January 2020, so my all in deal was good. I think that’s where you’re at from the sounds of it, so consider it a “fair” deal (which is good in this market) and just enjoy the new truck.
