Saw this one a little while ago, but forgot to post it. This was in the parking garage in Luke AFB by the BX. thought it was funny we both had black hoods. I also took note of his light bar setup bc i thought it looked good.

Id also like to say that Gringo is looking better now, and plan on gettting her hood painted soon.

Cruised behind a pack of modded 3rd gens (2x white (one with hybrid front bumper) and 1x cement) on my way up to Jerome Sunday morning. Looking good fellas if you're on here :wave:

If the white 3rd gen with bumper had a SmartCap and bunch of dumb stickers in the back, that was me.

Nice but sadly, none of them had caps or AZTW decals. One of the whites had a temp plate on it though lol.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they got a laugh as mine looks like a little RC truck with the mast up lol... Good day though! Heading up again soon because I'm craving Clinkscale badly (amazing food/cocktails).

That's fun! Feel like modded Tacomas are pretty sparse in our area,... suppose it's just my luck of the draw when I'm out though.

Maybe this needs to split into a separate post but....
I see way too many people driving like ass on the trails these days. Etiquette is GONE!

When I was teaching my daughter how to 4-Wheel, she asked how fast she should be driving. I told her "Half as fast as you would like to hit an oncoming vehicle and pray that it's someone following the same advice." Thankfully Rzrs weigh about 1/4 of what a Tacoma weighs. Unfortunately they are usually doing 60mph on the dirt.

Our FD gets called out to Table Mesa / Tonto National Forest / BLM Land all the time for collisions or people that lost control and rolled one or two down a cliff. I do detest government intervention in anything but I'm wondering if an off road driving class / drivers ed and then getting a qualification added to your AZDL would help curb some of these accidents. Too many people getting hurt when they are out of cell range and 45 minutes from pavement. That's hard to get rescue equipment into. Daisy Mountain Fire has had to add a Technical Rescue Team and a Frggin Sweet @$$ Jeep to get into the back country to rescue these people. And usually the Helicopter ends up coming too. That means I'm paying for it as a tax payer. Glad they have the gear but would like to see less accidents in the back country.
