    The guy caught that record flathead actually on Bartlett Lake. The spot you're referring to that you had been to before is Catfish Point which is a big pool right under the spillway for Horseshoe Dam. I pulled this 40 pounder out of that spot about 10 years ago using a live 6" tilapia as bait...

    Nah, she was way too big to eat. A leather boot would have tasted better. We let her go. The sucky part was that she had just laid eggs so if I would have caught her a few days before then she probably would have weighed about 10lbs more.

    Saw a black 2nd gen with 6" lift at grand ave and Dysart, had a nice dent in the passenger door.

    I have been to catfish point about 3-4 times in the last year or two and it is nothing like it used to be. It's kinda sad. Anyone still fish the verde for flatheads?

    Which part of the Verde? Further north by Cottonwood area, or down here by the Phoenix area like between Horseshoe/Bartlett or ??

    Yeah i thought people were catching flatheads further up north but i could be wrong.

    Just saw a 2nd gen speedway blue dcsb lifted with arb front bumper, toytec k&n and tw stickers on back window. Truck was parked on 35th ave between Campbell and camelback.

    saw a 1st gen single cab AEB front bumper looked to be 33inch tires with a rear plate bumper on ironwood an baseline around 4:30 we almost broke our necks spotting each other... anyone know who? or anyone on here?

    saw a bunch of sweet tacomas the past few days! no pics though:pout: ... i saw a first gen, silver, exo-cage, fully built crawling rig, over in a neighborhood by the scottsdale mall. and right down the same street were 2 more first gens that had tube bumpers. Also a tan first gen with a tube front bumper, white camper, looked alot like RADs old first gen (member on TW). saw on the 202 going east bound yesterday
