My wife was really in to the "car club" scene about 15 years ago. She doesn't understand why people don't grow out of it. She always says "it's just a truck, I would never do any of that stuff to my car." I've tried to relate it to her love of getting her hair done and clothes shopping, but it doesn't work! And yet she loves going to the Good Guys show which as you know is mostly older people. Women!

I have a broken ankle so getting around is a bit tough right now. Appreciate the invite though. Anything special you're going to Avid for? I traded a tubing bender and about 100ft of tubing for my light bar and sliders to Brandon. Eventually I'm going to try and get him to build me a bed rack. Last time I talked to him he was too busy with school to do any custom stuff.

Meets are a blast. Doesnt matter the age. When I took my wife to the first one she thought it was going to be stupid and nothing but guys talking about our trucks. Now she loves going to them and has become friends with everyone. Shit she goes to meets and goes wheeling with these guys without me sometimes. Great group of guys and girls we got here. Except phil he Is a asshole! Avoid that guy like a 1 dollar hooker.

Where in Gilbert are you? Maybe we should have a Gilbert Taco Happy Hour! Happy Hour I could talk my wife in to, she loves happy hour. If I tell her we're going to So Cal Tacos in downtown Gilbert she'll have no idea it's to see other Tacos until it's too late!

No work for avid, just stopping by to see Brandon since I just moved in the area. Ever since the guy started school he has been off the radar.
Snowflakes be nice! Phillycakes is a teddybear you just have to know where to rub and tug him. :p

Man you're right down the street from me. My wife loves Dos, we usually drive there with our bikes and then pedal home, my wife crashes literally every time!

Oh I know just where he likes to be rubed and tugged  and that was me being nice. He gets offended if we don't call him that. He hates it when say he is a nice guy. Haha

I'm surprised I haven't seen you. But I haven't really been driving my truck much since I broke my ankle. I make my wife drive her FLEX, it's much easier to get in and out of. Have you been to So Cal Tacos yet? We've been there twice, it's good and their prices aren't out of line. They have a very small but decent beer selection.

Pretty sure I saw Mike, redrider58, pulling out of Fry's today on La Canada a few hours ago? Truck looked exactly the same!

Thanks dude, I appreciate it. Normally I'm the one who sees the trucks and no one ever sees mine.

I go to Industrial every now and then. I can spend all day in there, but last time I was there, it was a few bucks more for a 20 foot stick. I pulled out of their scrap/bad cut room. Industrial is definitely more friendly though.
