    Palm tree roots will literally grow through the concrete and rebar to get to the water. Expensive repair. My wife worked at a pool store. Just giving you a heads up.

    Also there a pain In the ass to clean up after If they are to close to the pool. Mine was maybe 10 ft away and the wind would blow shit off it into the pool when they were In bloom, I got ours cut down. But sadly our neighbors have 2 along there wall that is close enough to blow into the pool still.

    Arizona is a desert, as far as trees go and spending money to water it and maintenance to keep it alive, if it doesnt provide shade or fruit its useless to me. But thats my opinion.
