@SCUBADIVINGJOE picked up some garage door openers from me last week. Same truck, was driving around with the light bar on at 5pm.

I assume its not illegal to drive with light bars on in AZ? Just curious as I've seen many offenders, the most ridiculous being a F250 brodozer with at least 6 bars on at one time, before noon. I am a courteous driver who keeps mine off unless I'm leading/solo on a trail at night.

I just think it's stupid to drive with light bars or Offroad lights on the road... they aren't designed for that, and it's a great way to draw more attention to yourself when there is that officer shooting radar 1/4 mile down the road.

There are a ton of people on here who do it though, guess it's a way to justify their money spent?

Only time I will run them on the road is if I am in the middle of no where and somewhere where there are animals or anything like that...

"Driving Lights" cannot be mounted higher than 43" above the ground. If they are below the 43" and not angled as to be a hazard to other drivers, than they can be on anytime. If above 43" than you can be cited and are only allowed for off-road use.

Still driving around with a light bar on all the time is very Bro-ish!

Using a light bar or pod on the street is stupid lol, especially with the more high powered ones. Then there is people who run lightbars with HIDs and that is just a facepalm. Fucking blind people why dont you.

Yea, people running light bars during the day get a nice one finger wave from me. That's just stupidity at its best. I can't stand that shit. The Sun reflecting off all your chrome bullshit is bad enough, now you wanna blind me with your light bar at noon? Come at me bro!

How are we supposed to showcase our LED bars/HIDs if not at noon?! I got mine specifically for mid day driving. Night time? In the desert? Alone? Nah. Mid day for everyone to see my raw lumens thats the ticket right there!

I personally enjoy turning the night into day. But thats just me..
(this was for a backdrop photo op mind u, I don't casually light up the city)

And I use mine every single night on the empty highway going home when zero traffic is about. As soon as I see headlights in the distance, I turn em off. And I also talked with an officer that was on a Back road whom was waiting for me and pulled me over. He didn't actually care at all about the lights and him getting blinded, as I saw him at the last second(he was hiding good), but said I was speeding.. He asked, know why I pulled you over!? I said with a grin, "My lights!?" He goes no, not so much the lights although I did see you from miles away. Lol. But started talking to him about it and he explained the whole deal with the lower mounted lights being okay to use. But not the ones above 43". Let me go with a warning about my speeding... And ive blinded a few other hiding cops on Back roads and empty highway too but turned them off immediately and never an issue. But my girlfriend got hassled one time at night.. So it really depends on the officers.. But again I live in a fairly empty area so I'm sure they understand the need for them out here. They call my highway home, "dead cow road" because cows have gotten plowed out here. Ha. Plus all the other critters and coyotes and sometimes the occasional stray horse (almost hit one one time).

Certainly dont use them driving in/around town or during the day tho. Ha. Dont understand that one bit. Except the fact that maybe that's the only time city folk get to use them. Lmao. Glad I dont live in the city..
