    Ummm....stuff and more stuff

    Spotted.....

Noticed the ice chest in the truck. Mr. Bear a few nights ago hit my camp site about 5 minutes before I got there. Dont worry, he didn't touch the jalapeno bacon or the beers.

Pardon if I'm not understanding correctly, Are you saying a bear came into your campsite? What part of AZ? What kind of bear?

Workman falls area north of Globe. It was a black bear. They don't get that big but I have seen them all over the state. Mostly on the RIM and north of 260. The most sign I have usually see is near Aztec Peak.

Came across a bobcat kill minutes after it happen and saw plenty of sign. It was a good weekend except the lack of Bucks. :annoyed:

That's pretty crazy, but luckily sounds like he didn't hurt anyone or trash your campsite too bad.

I've walked past at least 50 piles of bear scat and a couple fresh prints on the trails in the Huachucas and Santa Ritas down south. Honestly surprised haven't seen one.

Also ironically saw a ton of whitetail until opening day lol

Quick questions - I have an ARB fridge in the cab of my truck do I really need to get a bear-proof container when camping in these locations? and give up my Refrigeration?

Inside the truck is being bear proof or inside the bed with a shell or tonneau cover.

I would not worry too much about a fridge inside a cab in AZ, but bears are fricking crafty.
