Finally made the switch today after about a year debating Wrangler or Tacoma. Retired military in Charlotte…thanks for letting me lurk for so long.

first, thank you for your service!
secondly, nice looking truck, though I don't think either would have been a bad choice here

    welcome!

Thank you all - great little truck so far, but it will take time getting used to the V6 noise :) It is amazing how fast technology changes in cars - my 2010 Silverado LT was bare bones, I had to install aftermarket bluetooth...this TRD is crazy!

Welcome in, I did just the opposite, went from 2015 OR to a 2016 GMC 2500hd regular cab long bed. Miss the agility of a smaller truck, and the steering in the Tacoma was much tighter. But I carry almost a 1000 lbs of tools , so the Tacoma was almost overloaded with just me in it, add friends for lunch, well, I'm in a full-size now.

I went from a crew cab 2500HD duramax to my AC Tacoma. Unless I have to pull a huge trailer regularly I will never go back to a full-size truck. Love the smaller trucks.
