Ok So Idk james but I will say I have respect for him for a few reasons:
    1. It take some major balls to do that, and much less with all of the desert guys watching him do it.
    2. If you watch that video that someone released to the media of the crash you can see him running into the on coming trucks trying to slow them down. that right there is more awesome then the jump. So james good for you man for doing that

I disagree. There is a thin line between having so-called balls and being a complete retard. Destroying a new truck in this manner is completely stupid. Others have already summed it up much more succinctly:
    FAIL.

I'm not going to comment about his, or anyone elses actions concerning the wreck. This thread is isolated to James being an incredible douche.

it's his truck homie, he can do whatever he wants to with it. i wouldn;t jump it cause i dont want to break anything and thats a crazy jump... major pucker factor. but he did, so hats off to him for trying it.

also good for him to have the guts to put himself in the middle of an active race track to try to help out already injured people down the line.

guess what, thats not stupid... thats stepping up to the plate and doing his part

I'll agree its his truck , but I'm not gonna call it guts or stupidity, I'll call it reaction. But crash or not you DON'T jump in the middle of the track during an event unless you want to be part of the carnage !! Theres more Racers comin' !!

A lot of you don't know James, we in San Diego DO. I know he's young & enthusiastic, but more than a few have tried to talk to him & cool his jets with his driving, & I've told a few in private & now I'll make it public, "James I do not want to take you on our runs or at least any run I'm involved with, dude , you don't listen, you don't learn, its a bummer man, 'cause I got the feelin' underneath all the idiocy & having something to prove for some reason, that you're probably an ok kid," thats all I got to say about it....

You're absolutely right. It is his truck, he did what he wanted to do, and I think he's stupid for that. I'm not going to say hats off, or commend him in any other way for doing something which many other posters on this thread have already called idiotic. However, I also made it clear that I was approaching this thread in isolation from what happened later in the day. I'm glad he and many others immediately jumped into action to come to the aid of others. For that; good job James. For the jump, and the jump only, not smart.

Yes, it's his truck, but sometimes you have to stop people from doing stupid things when they aren't smart enough to not do it on their own.
