My 2000 tacoma has power locks/windows. Did it come with a key fob remote entry from toyota? The PO didnt know, Ive been meaning to call toyota and give them the vin hoping they could tell me/and sell me one maybe at an OK price?

Could I get one and program it myself or get it cheaper and have them program it for a small fee?

Sounds like you have to find out what that light is. Get into dash and trace some stuff.

I work in a car audio/video shop. so Trust me when I say its easy for you to just go pay for a keyless. I did my own in my truck, really really really easy, and its only 7 wires to hook up, I don't know about where u live but we only charge 150 for a basic keyless, that's installed and everything.

    All you need Is
    constant power
    Switched power
    Ground
    lock
    unlock
    (optional)
    Park lights
    Horn
