Cause the saturation and vibrance/clarity are cranked up.

 

I am not a big fan of altered images. Especially wildlife.

 

Any photo you see that's posted by a professional photographer will have been touched up. Same story with many amateur photographers.

There's a fine line to what's tasteful, but that line varies from person to person. OP's photo is not too bad. A few elements could be done nicer, but it's not excessive.

 

This was clearly touched up. I do not see any oil stains under the rear diff!

 

Not a good professional. OP photo is bad, way too much processing. If you can tell it's been altered, it's bad IMO. Get a shot that's the photographer has used the camera to take rather than processing after and the results are far superior.

Look at that blur around the edges, and that flag all blurry
