Look at Kenwood, Clarion, and Pioneer. I think they make some that you can change to orange.

Truth be told on night driving the military research has shown a light shaded green is best. It allows the eye to adapt better when looking away from the colors. Even our night vision goggles use a green tint when used...but I hey I see use what you like....Me I'm gonna go with red needles and probably blue numbers with some white mixed in their somewhere....

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
I could care less... I'm not ripping the dash apart to have my climate controls , and radio not match.

Wish I could feel the same way! I'm kinda OCD and want everything to match! I need to find a stereo that matches my factory colored dash lights!

Their study may have shown that but as everyone knows, when it comes to any Government study, you have to ask who paid for the study? ....... .......The Shaded Green light company... LOL :p

P.S. didn't the european Car makers have a study that showed that dim Red lights were better for night driving...... I think that study was funded by the DRL company (Dim Red Light Comp.)..... LOL :crazy:

My first thought was welcome back to the 80's. First Gen Hyundai Excels had orange, as did early Nissan Hardbody trucks, as well as Mazda cars and trucks. They are clear and easy to read. That's all I care about. :D

The radio can be changed the same way the gauge cluster can.

My previous vehicle come with red, green, white light. When I brought my truck during the day time, I never thought about night light. When I turn them on and it's orange. WTF! Thought about to change different color and it didn't bother me. I get used to it. Thought it was cool orange light.

Well someone told me that a lot of car companies use orange because its the brightest but least distractive color for safety reasons or something, which makes sense to me.
