Hoping that the cab mounts were relocated so that 35's can fit with little or no issue.....

I mentioned it before, it looks like you can remove this part out and maybe have clearance for 35s. This picture was at the Overland Expo West on the Trailhunter last weekend I took.

This looks like an NVH panel. Makes sense that it would be there and makes sense that it would be modular and removable rather than making us bust our a sawzaw/grinder.

I think it may be similar to the new Tundras because of the same platform. Folks are putting on 35s on stock Tundras but there is some rubbing.

What's with putting 35s on the new Tundra? Sure it looks killer with the big tires, but that truck wasn't engineered for that size tire.

Way easier to fit and run large tires on an HD truck. You can kit an HD truck to run military tires, and it's probably less work.:D

35s seem to balance it out. Leveling kit is all about you need, pretty easy.

Dealer here is squeezing 37s, so can’t be that difficult. Check out that price, for a half ton! Lol!

So are the flares easily removable too? Like the Bronco?

Starting to see more and more around town. Growing on me, but yeah one hell of a cow catcher.

Do love old iron, guess it is modern version of the 50s-60s truck grills.

Maybe it was 37s where you have to remove that metal box structure and trim flares and re shape the fender liner to fit the tires.

I just like the idea of 41s on an HD.

Probably, 37s look good on the Tundra too. GFC is a good resource for looking at different tire sizes. Have about every flavor you want on there.

Nice F450! Always someone that shows up something bigger, one of the guys on my last dirt bike trip to Gifford Pinchot, WA. Not sure the size tires, didn’t look. He built the camper himself. Think my Toyota could go more places though, some bridges out there in the back country that couldn’t carry the weight of that thing, and some height restrictions too.

Sure made my Tacoma look puny, but they did both get us to the same place, to have the same amount fun. As long as it can yank all the crap I carry and tow to the trailhead, I am happy.

37 is the new 35 and 35 is the new 33 when it comes to OEM tire sizes. IMO I think a mild lift and 35s would be perfect on the new 24+ Taco. According to the tire size calculator the new tires 265/70/18 = 32.6" while the old 265/70/16 = 30.6". I'm sure fleet wide MPG target is driving some of their decisions but it sure feels like Toyota is always one size smaller than my wants. If I was made of money I would buy both a new Tundra and Taco Pro; put 37s on the Tundra and 35s on the Taco.:D

Look at how much more space there is between the cab mount and front tire. The truck/frame in the photo is a Trailhunter so it already has 265/70R18 Goodyear Wrangler Territory R/Ts (32.6 inches or so).
