Durr, totally missed it... I miss my Explorer, a single AW1200N with a Memphis 1000.1 500 Watt amp would hit pretty good in there.
Not meant for SPL or anything but I liked it. Gonna have to throw a couple 8's in the new Toyota somewhere and see how it sounds. I need my bass back.

    first off nice setup
I must say I'm shocked that your doing 157db with 4 15s and only 2000watts
What meter did you use to get this verified ? is it a certified score ? Which sanction

What size power wire are you using?
Do you have your big 3 done
Where are you grounding the rear battery/ amps

Based on my experience with these trucks, you shouldn't have to many electrical symptoms with 2000watts worth of bass unless you have a high voltage drop due to resistance

Its 4 12's in a sealed box. Was not sanctioned. Just a meter at the local shop. Power and grounds are 0 to 4 and 0 to 8. Everything is grounded to the block and then to body under the carpet. I havent done the big three yet waiting on a new alt.

    Yeah,
    ill try say this politely,
There is no chance under any solar system it would reach 157 on a termlab or any meter competitions get certified with. With 157 on 2kw you would have a stack of records

I'll try upload you a vid of what a tacoma looks like at around 145 db on termlab playing music. I had the roof solidly deadned and still
Managed to seperate the roof cross Member from the skin.

    Burps where just under 150.
Tacomas simply aren't as loud as other rides with = equipment. Their axtually quite hard
To get loud and I used
Mine to compete in super street 3-4 and nw class

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with manethon. There's no way you're hitting a true 157db with that setup.
