Did you attend college?

Bachelors in nursing in 2001. Finished masters in nurse anesthesia in 2006. Now paying back 120k in student loans.

 

My sister wants to do the exact same thing. Talk about making some serious $$$ relatively quickly.

 

Its a lot of responsibility but I love my job...but not paying the monthly student debt. There will probably be a surplus for the next few years then it will stabilize again. Where is she @ in school? PM me if you want...I don't mean to pull a robbery here.

 

She graduates with her nursing degree in a month. She's looking for jobs in the ER or Critical Care right now to get her 2 years experience, then will start applying for schools.

Both! I spent 5 years in the Navy & 4 years at University of Oregon after discharge...

 

I first went to college in 1984. Around the time a lot folks here on TW were born.
I dropped out after a year. Wasted a lot of time and energy going nowhere.
I re-entered college in 1991 and finished my BA.

I was Flex Time '97, back when they had the flex time option. Took same classes as full timers, with the full timers, but had 3 years to do it, rather then 2. I told the full timers that anytime they didn't score higher than me on exams, they should be ashamed, seeing how I was giving them at least a 40 hour headstart every week, (I worked fulltime as an engineer at Compaq).

 

Graduated UC Davis in 2009. Now in pharmacy school at UOP and will graduate with my doctorate of pharmacy in 2012.
