Started back in the 80's, but never finished. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. :D

we don't have counselors, we're responsible for making our own schedules and getting everything done using a list of required classes.

we have a similar thing but also have the counselors to help suggest the proper classes for the degree you want and to help you transfer

i go to Santa Ana College in CA and its a trade or tech school with a nationaly ranked fire academy, diesel mechanics, welding, criminal justic and nursing so counselors are needed

ah I see, we have advisers which are generally well established professors who will help out with schedules. This is purely an academic school though.

There is "Yes, Joined Military" I think that it implies that you did both.

every MBA program I've seen requires 2 years of business experience as a prerequisite

You can't go wrong with a Master's degree in business

Just shows polls always cut & dried -- I served (US Army) and a major motivator was, at the time, the GI Bill which I took advantage of after I ETS'd. I took the last option to mean that but thought I would clarify.

If you'd already have a business degree and are working in that kind of environment than I'd say 100% get it. Otherwise not sure if there would be a benefit. Plus as mentioned above there's usually going to be some sort of business prerequisite.

    Blank slate - brand new!
I got in 2 years while in the Army then finished my undergrad (History major/Gov't minor) at Campbell University after I retired. Became involuntarily interested in prosthetics after an accident and went back to college while recovering. I spent a year taking prereqs to get into Northwestern University's Prosthetics program. Counting internship and residency I have 7.5 years of college now...damn it went by fast!
