Got a BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy.
I'm in Naval flight school now....and catch up with me during the next 7-8 years...I'll be getting a Masters in Human Performance Technology and Public Affairs.

I am a glutton for punishment.

 

Joined the Air Force 2 months after I graduated. I plan on going to school soon though since the Air Force is going to pay for it.

 

What are you hoping to fly?

 

3 quarters at Northwestern, that's all i could afford
sister-in-law tried to talk me into being a R.N.
she made real good money. but wasn't for me..

2 years at Clayton State, I was still broke, by this time
I was feeling retarded also

2 years at the ghettto college

plan to return for something else, need some extra cash
looks like i'm going to be a lifer

Got my BS in Business Admin w/ options in Finance and Real Estate from CSUN in 04.....the best time of my life so far!

 

University of Hard Knocks, and took a couple of clases at Colorado State Penn.

Just messing with ya, when I got out of High School, hardly anyone went to college, I end up going after my 2nd daughter was born.....I was 40 then.

when did you leave knox? If timing was right may have a few drill sargents you may have known..........

 

I'd like to get tracked into our Dolphin program- The HH-65. Short range Search and Rescue, shipboard deployments, and drug interdiction all sound like a good time to me.

 

You all did well, I never went or really considered college. Now its too tough with a full time job and child. to all that attended.

 

got a 2yr degree in graphic design and diploma/certificate in massage therapy (which now im nationally & state certified)

I’ve got a Bachelors of Science in business. It’s probably not worth the paper it’s written on. In the modern age a collage degree is nothing more than advanced job training. If you really want to be smart and understand the world we live in you have to study on your own.

 

I agree, I got my degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alot of people in the field never went to college, but just work there way up the ladder. I did in 5 years of college what it takes someone 10 years who didn't go to college.

I loved college but hated going to classes.

 

I only knew a few people from school that were planning on taking the test for the EIT (engineer in training). After 5-10 years, you can take the test for a PE liscense. I'd say something like 20% of people who graduate with a ME end up getting a PE certificate. Only some jobs require them. I don't plan on getting mine. I'm going to get my MBA eventually.
