Just graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia about a month ago. We are on that weird quarter system with six month internships, so we have crazy schedules (which is why i graduated at such a weird time)

I'm too old, have hypertension, and a very slight heart murmur. I would never pass the physical.

Have you explored any possibilites with Federal Govt employment. If not mistaken you could google military vehicles and find out what organization employs civil servants in the area of vehicle research and contruction. You would seem like a nice fit on an assembly line as quality control....hope this helps...

Oh yes, I have been looking at government agencies. I'm watching the Bonneville Power Administration for an operations opening, and barring that, will go back to school again to be able to apply for upcoming internships with them for substation operations this fall. I've applied to Western Area Power Administration, and will be calling them again today, as I've not been able to get hold of the H.R. representative since their computer auto rejected my application. I've also been checking the TVA website regularly as well. I've also been trying to get a more complete list of private power companies to expand my search area as well.

San Jose State! It was hard work but in the long run I'm soooo much better off. I make more money than I ever thought. I have a very good life. I dropped out for a few years and worked in construction but I realized that long term I didn't have the security I needed. I miss working outdoors now and then but I like what I do now (Test software for IBM).

    Yep.

Played 4 years of college football and majored in Bullshit.

The best way to describe my college experience is this:

Hibbert: Son, I'm afraid that leg is hanging by a thread.
Lubchenko: Lubchenko must return to game!
Hibbert: [chuckles] Your playing days are over, my friend.
But, you can always fall back on your degree in ...
[reads chart] communications!? Oh, dear Lord!
Lubchenko: I know! Is phony major. Lubchenko learn nothing.
    Nothing! [cries]
