It's a coming and the other thing that's making things even worse that hasn't really even hit the economy yet is the millennium's are graduating from college with 100,00-150,000 s in debt
    College debt,
Their buying power is going to be much less as they come into the workforce.
They're all going to be pretty broke for a long time.
And our country keeps getting further and further debt

I financed $33k at 2.9% for 60 months my payment is right around $590 and my insurance is $105 a month.

Wish I had just took my savings and bought a used first gen but they were impossible to find at a decent price and need something reliable while I’m school. Thank god parents are letting me live at home while I go to school and GI Bill, can pay this sucker off sooner, otherwise I’d be in another 10 miserable years.

$42k Pro at 3.2% for 72 months. $633 a month roughly. Ive seen others plowed to the ground though I dont know how they can foot what is a essentially a mortgage payment then buy mods on top of it.

by decent price you mean less than $10k 7.5k 5k ... less?

Baby boomers, there's lot that need a swift kick in the pants. The most entitled generation this country has ever known.

Curious what pushed you out? Guard could be the way to go? Guard life is pretty good imo.

I’ve heard. Just toxic work environment/ career field that also doesn’t translate to anything on the outside, tired of deployments, pcs’ , bullshit, was time to move on. Got accepted to a competitive 2nd degree nursing program so took the opportunity now to start a career I find rewarding with growth and can be close to family.

indeed it shall! my taco sure has lasted a lot longer than my prior '70s Toyota cars with a ton of TLC and near frostbitten knuckles
i do have a few concerning issues that have recently popped up, but 22yrs is a long long time to finally have something weird to deal with

Ive definitely heard plenty of that, been a "guard baby" so my career has been pretty good thus far. Not to say you dont have the same political crap as AD. Ive never gotten to deploy its a blessing and a curse though. Glad things worked out for you coming out. I almost 7 years in and Im just now picking up on school which was the whole reason I joined lol

I have some guard friends and are some of the best people. Same reason I joined, managed to finish my associates and bachelors while in. Stayed longer than I planned but they dangled a tax free reenlistment bonus during my first deployment so stuck with it. I mean every job has its pitfalls just was tired of dealing with it and hating my job (was weather). My parents offered for me to move back home while I do this accelerated nursing program so I took the opportunity. Was hard though at 10 in and E6. Good luck man and thank you for your service.

Exactly, coming from a ford family, I will always be a Toyota customer until they give me a reason not to be.

I've never had a car payment until this Taco. I hated it and paid it off one month after purchase. 2.99% for 3 years. Just paid it off last Friday....I feel better.
