Did You Fail The Mass Inspection? And Why?????

Im going to see what the laws will be regarding my truck as a commercial vehicle. The inspection laws are different, so we shall see how that goes. Or I'll just move out of state before my trucks are due again

 

As under the new inspections laws you will be charged an hourly rate to inspect it

 

Meh I would just have to buy a couple things to carry in the tool box for it to be legal

Does MA have modified inspections? Or you just mean failing lift parts and have to return to stock?

There aren't any new laws, just new inspection methods, the laws in place will be enforced now. Although it looks like they added something about aftermarket lighting (LEDs), and it sounds like the will be failing cold air intakes because "it is a modification to emissions equipment"

 

I haven't had them on for years. I gave them away. I found some of the clips the other day. You can have them if you need them.

 

The hoop is getting smaller it seems.

 

I don't know how CAI is an emissions mod, other than that it puts some more air into the motor which means the motor needs more fuel for proper AFR's

Very nervous to get my truck inspected here. I really don’t understand. This forces residents to purchase newer vehicles sooner. Rust is inevitable in this state but you’re going to be extremely strict on it? I understand a component that is necessary for the safety of the driver and others but sorry, I can drive my truck no problem with a rust hole in the quarter panel

My truck looks like it just came out of the Showroom except for the lift so we shall see.
