    I never care about them. 3rd gens dont have flaps from the factory same as half the chevys nowadays so screw it.

    Passed today. Ended up putting the stock mud flaps on, but I asked the guy at the shop and he said I would pass without them. Also, asked about if I had an aftermarket exhaust, he said as long as its not obnoxiously loud, I'd be fine.

    Was thinking that too, but straight up asked the guy if I needed them to pass and he no. I've read somewhere that they're required, but he said it would be fine. Since I ordered them new, (sold originals) I might just send back. Also was looking at some of the newer Tacoma's and some don't even come with mud flaps anymore.

    Pioneer CD, Megaloud/JBL amps, Rockford/Polk speakers.
    Different story but the Rav4 doesn't. My wife's 2005 had them and her 2014 we just got this summer didn't..we did buy both used however.

    FWIW, both vehicles had larger tires and sit higher than my Tacoma does.

    I still have the stock TRD OR tail lights right now, but was looking to put on some aftermarket lights
