Did you go with black or chrome lugs?

Help me decide. I can't decide between black or chrome lugs for these wheels. Method Double Standard Machined Lip. Pics would help too!

Once you go black.... so go black... They of course get nicked up at the dealership... so you have that going for you.

 

I was going with chrome but unfortunately there was an issue with shipping and they didn't make it in time for my install. So I had to buy some locally and could only find black. However I like they way they turned out.

 

Yeah, they'll end up with a nice two toned patina eventually. Lug nutz are consumable items like tires on a vehicle. They are the fastener that gets the most beat up in use by the monkey's at dealers.

 

I have black and the dealer scratched em... very hard to see unless you bend over and get real close... wait I ....was thinking about woman...

That was one of my reservations with black, nicks and scratches. Does that mean they are just coated black?

Any one got experience with the lugs offered at Discount Tires? They any good or should I get them on my own? Is there an aftermarket set online with 20 lugs and 4 wheel locks? Can you provide some recommendations-brand/specs?

Pink chrome sounds nice... rose gold was all the rage at one point.

Do you like the picture that you posted of the rim, it has chrome lugs on it. If not go black. I went chrome on mine I have the same style rim with Machined lip and chrome center cap. I like the little bit of chrome to break up the black. Gives the wheel depth and contrast.

If you have method wheels you should get the extended shank lugs. I have method standard. I purchased the gorilla spline type through wheelers off road. They sell them single.
