Did you Grease your X-Joint Camburg Upper Control Arms (UCAs)??

    Did you know that Camburg recommends greasing your UCAs every 5,000 miles (or more). You need two types of grease--a lithium based (for the X-joint) and a Teflon-PTFE grease for the polyethelene bushings.

    I have attached the Camburg maintenance recommendations as a PDF at the end of this post.

    I grease mine when I rotate my tires/change oil every 5,000 miles.
    To grease the two (front/rear) bushings you have to loosen the long bolt (approx 12" to 14") holding the UCA on. This allows the grease to reach the bushings without blowing out. Re-tighten after greasing to 90 ft-lbs. The process is actually pretty easy.



    X-Joint is under this Cap--Use Lithium based grease at zerk fitting after removing cap with screwdriver/hammer.
