I installed an AAL kit on my 2021 Tacoma. Now I'm getting alot of noise when I accelerate or brake to hard. It's coming from the rear. I was told I needed a 2.5 degree shim installed? Is this true? Did anyone else have this issue? Does it really throw off the angle on the driveshaft that much?

Yes to all. Installed a 1.5” AAL on my truck and 2 degree shim cured vibrations caused by improper driveshaft angle.

I have no shims with my 1.5" AAL and am not experiencing vibrations. My front suspension on the other hand..... that took some effort to resolve.

I am too getting a quick squeak during acceleration and sometimes braking. I did an Icon RXT leaf pack at stage 3. Might this be the issue…..
