    I built up the roof with a couple applications of green stuff, it's the blue and yellow sticky epoxy in the photo, then filed down the roof rails and sanded to 220 and gave it a test shot of Tamya Fine Surface Primer. Good luck finding this stuff, it's liquid gold for this kind of thing. That revealed a few flaws, so I dabbed some Tamiya X21 Flat Base on the pits. Going to sand this down to 800 and reapply the primer.

    NICE. How did you cut the holes for the axles? I was thinking a shallow cut by pressing an Xacto blade in, then super gluing the axles. Is that what you did?
