Those that have the Diehard Platinum, which model are you guys using for your trucks. I am set on going with the Diehard Platinum but have noticed not everyone uses the size recommended by Sears/Diehard. So which one is everyone using from DH?

    just a couple comfort items.
I have been running a Die Hard Platinum group 31 for a couple years with no problems and that's with a Engle fridge/freezer running 24/7 pretty much the whole time! It is my primary Batt, But I do have a 23ah batt as backup if needed. I have only used it twice.

DH Platinum, great battery. Have used it on other rides, will be buying for the Tacoma soon.

Great job on your truck, btw. Love the mods.

So I picked up a Diehard Platinum today and the stock holdown is wider than the battery and I feel there is too much slop. It was the battery size listed for our truck but its substantially smaller than the stock battery. I plan to take it back tomorrow to get the guys to take a look at it and see if they think it is too small too.

Yeah get the biggest one you can fit under the stock bracket. I was able to fit a group 31 but it took a custom bracket and changing the cables a little. I don't recommend that unless you really need a lot of reserve. That is a heavy battery!
