diesel swaps for 1st generation tacoma?

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    A supercharger would wake that 2.7 right up, do that or swap a 3.4 in it. You could sell your current Tacoma and go buy a new one that's completely decked out for all the money you'll spend putting a diesel in that thing.

    If you cant find a Toyota diesel you can always get the Mitsubishi 4d56t or a complete new Hyundai built version of the same engine. All new right down to the alt. The guys in the delica's get them in Canada . But you would have to run a ford ranger trans. if you wanted a bolt up conversion.

    ^ Yep start adding boost you'll need to do some head gasket work at the very least.
