Dif lock and mirror question

Gave up searching. Two questions regarding 2014 TRD 4x4 Off Road. First, is there a mod that will allow me to engage the rear dif lock in 2WD or 4WD hi mode? I hate that it can only be switched on in 4 low. Second, my wife wants me to get a replacement mirror with digital compass and temp display. Short of buying a pricey Toyota one? Is the wiring loom in the overhead console plug and play? Options? If there is a thread on either of these please point me in the right direction. Just joined today! Thank!

Ditto on contacting Bob Primm, deal with confidence. I did this very mod a month ago on my '15 Double Cab. My truck did have a wiring harness in place..sort of. The harness is there, but only has wiring for power and ground. I had to run two wires from the mirror harness, to a sensor that I mounted behind the grill. Bob can provide you with a kit which can includes the mirror, harness plug, new sensor wiring, and sensor. Hope this helps!
