diff and transfer case fluids

I did my own oil change and took the truck in to get my fluids checked out. This shop is trying to charge me $300 to change fluids in the front and rear diffs and transfer case. Is this the actual cost or are they just scammers?

 

I dont think that's too bad, considering the dealer wants way more than that. Changing the fluids in the diffs and transfer case do take a little while longer, since you cant just poor them in.

However, if you can do your oil change, I don't think its too far for you to do your diffs and stuff.

 

its about what some places charge. But, if you ran synthetics you could change everything (diffs, tcase, tranny) for $100 and some time.
