I left plenty of slack and ran it along the frame, and up into the cubby. The drivers side cubby is located further towards the rear on the long bed. You should be able to run it to the gas neck on the Double Cab.

Just finished this, OP, great write up, what I did to make sure there was enough slack for the axle to move was zip tied the fuel line along the soft break line and left about 3 inches extra. I figure if your break lines aren't long enough you got other problems.

I'm going to order the parts to do this this weekend. I've seen a couple of part numbers floating around. Can someone clarify which ones I would need to order?

OP States: Toyota#'s 90404-51026 Camary Union and 90930-03136 (Breather Union) with 1/4" Fuel Line

I've read another post that states: Toyota #'s 90404-51319 & 90930-03136 with 5/16" Fuel Line

Do I just pick which pair I want to go with?

I went with the 51319 Union because its bigger in diameter were the hose goes on and I used 5/16 fuel line with the listed breather, and had no issues.

I made the mistake of ordering the small union and 5/16" fuel line. Fuel line is too big so will just need to get the 1/4" fuel line. So just don't make that mistake.

I'd like to do this to my truck but I have a dumb question. Why is it I never see any1 doing the front diff? Are ppl doing it n I'm not paying attention, or is it unnecessary?

The front diff comes from the factory with the correct set up much higher up in the engine bay.

Hoping to do this this weekend! Is there much risk of debris getting into the diff while re-installing the hose, or if I just generally keep the area clean should I be all good to go?

I would clean the area around the opening if you have dirt/mud on your axle so nothing gets knocked in. Otherwise I think you're fine.

Did the mod today. Routed line over the gas tank and zip tied hose along the gas filler hose. Valve sets up high near the gas cap but I did not drill a hole; didn't see a need for that. Used 5/16" clear tubing I had left over from trany flush. 20 minute job.

FINALLY got around do doing this mod. It was one of the first mods I shopped for before I got my truck and by far one of the easiest to date.
    I don't know why I waited 4 months.

Glad I browsed all the posts here for ideas. As I tagged along and placed behind the tail light. EASY PEASY!!

Ran from the Diff up over the spare tire, following the break light bundle.

Over the tire, and up the Driver side tail light.
