Diff breather mod issues?

    UPDATE:



    I tried the black breather from Amazon recommended here to no avail, in the photo you can see the bottom of the threads are silver and flatter leading me to believe that my diff as not drilled wide enough to accommodate the thread and the stock breather itself appears to have flat threads all the way on it also

    Ugh bummer man. Looks like something was definitely cross-threaded at some point. I'm sure someone on here can point you in the right direction on what the resolution would be. Good luck.
