Diff Drop, 3 inch lift?

    I plan on lifting my first gen with Bill'y set at zero and toytec/eibach coils..

    I've head so much about the diff drop and what can happen to your CV's I'm almsot scared to lift now even with the diff drop. how many people have them in, does it make a difference? (I've heard it doesn't really)

    and how much work is it?? I havent found a single how to?!!?

    How important is it??

    Debadged,Deck Plate mod, Helix throttle body spacer, magnaflow two chamber, smoked corner marker lamps, cb radio, smoked headlights, grillcraft mesh grill, URD short throw shifter, ultagauge, billstein 5100 front struts, spidertrax 1.25 spacers on all four
    its a pretty important piece to the list i definately wouldnt go without it. Its also very easy to install. i did the same setup as you in the front with the toytec diff drop kit and my cvs are nice and flat just like stock if you install this with your lift you should have no problems

    Toytec 3'' Lift 2'' AAL Bed Light Mod Westin Step Sides
    I am getting ready to install a 3'' lift on my Tacoma and I made sure I got a diff drop kit. I rather be safe than sorry and yes I know I am going to have more ware on the truck now that I am lifting it. There is still a possibility that I will have to replace the CV's or something else but I at least tried to prevent it.

    So to answer your question, I think you should get one and most kits that you buy will come with the spacers that you need to lower it. Check out this link:
