AEM CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, DT headers, all speakers replaced with (2) 10's and amp behind rear seats, color matched grill, grillcraft, projector headlights, 8000k HID's, DC Torque wheels, 3" Toytec lift, Bilstein 5100 shocks.
So I took my truck to the dealership today because my CV joint was coming apart (for the 2nd time this year). And was told that the 3 inch lift I have on the truck is causing the problem and I would need a differential drop kit to keep it from happening again. My truck only has 28,000 miles on it and has had the lift for about 25,000 of them. Is this normal wear and tear and also who makes a good diff drop kit if i really need it?

I just got mine from toytec for 30 bucks it seems pretty solid and straight forward. I'm installing it tomorrow.

I bought a 3in spacer lift from them and i have no complaints.

Also everyone tells me i should get it because I have a 4x4 and all. So hey a quick 30 buck fix could save you a lot of money haha

Can you post some pics of your CV angles please? I've had a 3in lift on my truck before and never had any issues with the DV angles...
