Diff drop questions

    2 quick questions:
    - I have a 2" lift. I realize I probably don't need a diff drop, but if I put it in, are there any adverse consequences? For $30, I'd rather have it than not, but if it's going to jack something up, why start.

    - I get that the diff drop is to straighten the CV angles. But... does something else get stretched when the differential gets lowered?

    ive had a diff. drop on my 3 inch for a while and beat the crap out of it and i has not hurt anything yet.. take a picture of you cv angles. or look if the inner boot ribs are touching then they will wear out faster.
