check the seals, if the seal is bad its going to leak. make sure its not nicked and make sure the little metal spring is in tact

read another thread concerning the same issue...

OP replaced the cv's with aftermarket...
and thought the cv's were not seating fully...
as the seal on the passenger side began leaking.

OP installed a new seal... no more leak.

ya that was my thread, what happened was i bought auto zone axles and new seals from toyota. The driver side i pushed the seal all the way in to where it stopped witch is the correct way to install it. Now the passenger side all you have to do is make sure u slide it in flush with the front diff housing. it doesnt get pushed all the way in till it stops. So i pushed the seal in too far to the point the oil would just leak out of the diff. if OP has any questions just ask ive torn my axles out 10 times and got purdy good at putting them back together

This might be a dumb question. The Seals are inside of the differential and are what the cv axels fit into?

The housing is where the axles slide into. The seals go into the housing witch make a seal for the oil so it doesn't leak out
