Diff lock is bad ass

    can diff lock be used going up hills n such? mud and sand etc. or should you only use it when you are stuck?

    Use it whenever you think you MIGHT need it. Just don't use it on hard surfaces such as asphalt or concrete or you will be eating up tires like there is no tomorrow. You also don't want to be engaging the locker when you are trying to make hard turns. The rear wheels will try to push you forward in a straight line, vs allowing the front wheels to turn the vehicle.

    Play around with it and you will get used to it pretty quickly.

    my taco has open diffs, in back and locking hubs up front...wish i had rear lockers too but i can deal.
