    TRD drop in filter, flowmaster 50series muffler
    I have a 2008 sr5 4x4 (non trd) do i have a open diff or LSD? ive read on someones post here that on way to check is to do a burn out and if one wheel does the spinning then it does, but when i did it both my rear wheel spun also when i did a donut it was both rear

    Crawl under your truck, your diff should have a sticker saying "ONLY LSD OIL" right above the fill bolt.

    I'm pretty sure all sr5's are open diffs up until 09 when an electronic limited slip came out. At least I don't think it was an option without any of the packages.

    Incorrect. Seems like that is said a lot around here too.

    I have a straight SR5, no TRD, and I have an LSD.

    My understanding when I researched to buy is that LSD by itself is an option but is standard on Pre-Runner and with TRD Package. My SR5 is open.

    Same here, but mine is an 06 prerunner--Definitely has the mechanical lsd and its an sr5. :)

    from 05-08, it was only standard on the trd sport...trd off road has locker standard...that goes for prerunner and 4x4 on both. it IS optional on sr5
