Hello all, I am about to change the oil on both diffs and transfer case. My truck is a base model 4x4. I bought two gallons of the oil pictured below. I know the weight is not what the manual calls for, but I think it will do fine for my area and the temps that I will be driving in. Aside from that, is this oil ok to use? The only other alternative from the shop I bought it from (Advanced Auto) would have cost me $50 dollars more. Thanks.

That 5 off isn't going to make that much of a difference unless you live in a cold region.

You may get slightly less MPG

Use it . Lots of members run 80w-90. I have a change coming up and will be using 80w-90.
