Looking at RSI Smart Cab bed replacement flatbed. They list it only as 3rd gen compatible. I have a 2nd gen DCSB. I reached out to them and they just said it doesn't fit but would not elaborate on what the fitment issues would be. I notice other vendors of flatbeds do not necessarily differentiate between 2nd and 3rd gen. This may because these vendors are more of a universal build.

Curious if anyone has an idea what the challenges may be or what the differences are between the two gens that would cause me problems?

Not seeing the actual mounting points but you're wondering where the bolts in the bed floor lineup right?
I've matched the header rail and it fit the points exactly. Marked as a second gen part fit the 3rd gen. DCSB.

Yep, that was my main interest. I assumed they would but you never know.. Then following that just wondering what other things may be an issue, like fuel cap location etc. I feel like I could make it work, but clearly have some blanks to fill in..
