Difference between front bumper covers

Hey everyone! First post here and a fairly new Tacoma owner.

What is the difference between the two front bumper covers (52119-04907 vs 52119-04220) I know it says with/without wheel opening molding. So one has it and one doesn’t but when I look at pictures I’m not exactly sure what they’re referring to? Does someone have a side by side picture or a single picture with it pointed out?

I was looking to get a replacement front bumper cover and was wondering if I could just use either of the two or if I had to get the exact same part number match.

ones with the fender flare have extra slits in them where the flares tab in.
if you have flares originally you can either cut the tabs on the flares or cut slots in your new bumper to fit.
if you didnt have flares originally (SR) you will end up with holes you wont cover, so i recommend you get the right one.

 

I bought the 52119-04220 for my truck (TRD Off Road) back in January. My recollection is it was the only version available but I might be wrong. It does not have the cut outs for the fender flares but there is a mark where the cut outs would need to be if you have fender flares.

I ended up reusing my old (already painted) bumper so I didn't use the new one. If you are anywhere near Vermont, I'll sell it to you for a good price.
